The Egyptian Liver Hospital, Egypt's representative in the African ALPA, gets renewal of ISO 9001 Certificate
Shiha: “We operate in compliance with medical standards of major hospitals inside and outside Egypt.”
The Egyptian Liver Hospital, member of the African ALPA Bloc to control viral hepatitis, announced that it has obtained renewal of ISO 9001 Quality Management Certificate for three more years, after passing an external review conducted by the certification company “SGS”.
Professor Gamal Shiha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Liver Patients Care (ALPC) in Dakahliah and the Egyptian Liver Hospital in Sherbin, said that the renewal of the ISO 9001 Quality Management Certificate is a confirmation of the hospital’s policy aimed at improving the medical service provided to patients in parallel with increasing administrative efficiency.
Shiha stressed that the hospital was keen to conduct a comprehensive performance evaluation periodically and to operate in compliance with the administrative and medical standards of major hospitals inside and outside Egypt, which was confirmed by the team in charge of the review and evaluation over the course of more than one visit.
For their part, the representatives of the certification company “SGS” applauded the hospital’s management and all its staff for what it had achieved during the exigent circumstances of the spread of COVID-19, as well as its optimal application of international medical and administrative quality standards.
